Orchids at Cheekwood

Step into a tropical escape in Cheekwood’s historic Loggia, where an immersive display invites you to wander beneath a graceful archway of blooming orchid spheres. Elegant shades of pink and white orchids mingle with burgundy Ficus foliage, lush ferns, and striking patterns of Tradescantia zebrina, creating a larger-than-life experience that brings color and warmth to the heart of winter.

This year’s design features an enfilade concept, using doorways and panels in a line to create a suite of rooms overflowing with purple, white, orange, peachy yellow, and soft pink orchid varieties. Subtle fragrances will enchant, and the overall effect will be a feast for the senses, a celebration of nature’s artistry, not only a visual delight but a testament to the incredible complexity of these remarkable flowers.
